RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last Updated: 08/11/26
At Jennings Lane, each piece is handmade with care, and we want you to love your purchase. Because our jewelry is handmade and produced in limited quantities, please review the following policy before placing your order.
RETURNS
At this time, Jennings Lane does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or other non-defective merchandise. All sales are final except for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Please review all product descriptions, photographs, measurements, materials, and other product information carefully before completing your purchase.
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your jewelry arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us at jenningslaneshop@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
Your message should include:
-
Your full name;
-
Your order number;
-
A brief description of the issue; and
-
Clear photographs showing the item and the damage or defect.
For items damaged during shipping, we may also request photographs of the original packaging so that we can properly evaluate the damage.
Please keep the item and its original packaging until your claim has been reviewed.
Once we receive the requested information, Jennings Lane will review the claim and determine an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances and product availability, this may include a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.
HANDMADE ITEMS
Jennings Lane jewelry is handmade, and slight variations between individual pieces are expected.
Beads and other components may naturally vary in color, shape, size, texture, pattern, or placement. Colors may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and individual screen settings.
These minor variations are part of the nature and character of handmade jewelry and are not considered defects.
DAMAGE AFTER DELIVERY
Our damaged or defective item policy applies to products that arrive damaged or contain a workmanship or assembly defect.
It does not cover damage that occurs after an item has been delivered in good condition as a result of:
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Accidental damage;
-
Dropping, crushing, pulling, snagging, stretching, or otherwise placing excessive force on the jewelry;
-
Broken, chipped, or scratched beads resulting from impact or use;
-
Improper use, handling, cleaning, or storage;
-
Exposure to water, chlorine, saltwater, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, or other substances that may affect the jewelry;
-
Failure to follow Jennings Lane's Jewelry Care recommendations;
-
Alterations or repairs performed by someone other than Jennings Lane; or
-
Loss of an item or individual jewelry components after delivery.
A piece breaking after it has been received does not necessarily mean that the item was defective when purchased.
Jennings Lane reserves the right to review photographs, order information, the condition of the piece, the amount of time since delivery, and other relevant circumstances when determining whether an issue qualifies as a defect.
Please review our Jewelry Care Policy for information about properly wearing, cleaning, handling, and storing your Jennings Lane pieces.
REPAIRS
We understand that accidents happen.
If your Jennings Lane piece becomes damaged after delivery and the damage is not covered by our damaged or defective item policy, you are still welcome to contact us.
Depending on the condition of the piece and availability of the original materials, we may be able to offer a paid repair.
Any applicable repair and shipping costs will be communicated to you before the repair is performed.
Because Jennings Lane uses individually sourced beads and components and may release limited collections, we cannot guarantee that the original materials will remain available. If an identical component is unavailable, we may offer a similar replacement when possible.
Jennings Lane reserves the right to decline a repair if we determine that the piece cannot reasonably be repaired.
REFUNDS
If Jennings Lane approves a refund, it will generally be issued to the original method of payment.
Once a refund has been issued by Jennings Lane, the amount of time required for the funds to appear in your account is determined by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable except when a refund is issued because of an error by Jennings Lane, an item that arrived damaged or defective, or where otherwise required by law.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
If you need to request an order cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible at jenningslaneshop@gmail.com.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once it has been placed. If your order has already entered processing or has been shipped, we may be unable to cancel it.
Jennings Lane reserves the right to cancel an order due to inventory errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, pricing or technical errors, or other circumstances permitted by law. If Jennings Lane cancels an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, items specifically marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
A Final Sale designation does not prevent a customer from contacting Jennings Lane if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
